This is the new color in our living room. I like it very much with our red sofas.
Wir haben beim Renovieren diese Leisten unter die Decke geklebt und sie sehen so gut aus.
While renovating we glued these ledges under the ceiling and they look so good.
Ich würde Euch gerne noch mehr Fotos von dem neuen Wohnzimmer zeigen, aber leider ist es im Moment noch sehr kahl dort. Könnt Ihr Euch vorstellen, dass ich es noch nicht fertig gebracht habe, einen Nagel in die neue Wand zu hauen? Ich überlege im Moment, ob ich noch eine Binderschiene anbringen soll, um die ganzen Löcher in der Wand zu vermeiden, da ich ja so oft Bilder umhänge.
I would like to show you more photos of the new living room, but unfortunately it is rather bleak there at the moment. Can you imagine, that I could not hit a nail into the new wall yet? I am considering at the moment, whether I should attach a picturerail, to avoid all the holes in the wall, because I so often rehang paintings.
Außerdem ist das Renovieren ja immer eine gute Gelegenheit, um sich von überflüssigen, oder nicht mehr gewollten Dingen zu trennen. Wir haben uns von unserem Eßtisch und den meisten Stühlen getrennt und brauchen jetzt dringend neue.
Also the renovation is always a good opportunity to separate yourself from unnecessary or no longer wanted things. We disposed our dining table and most of the chairs and we now urgently need some new.
Diesen Stuhl haben wir aber natürlich behalten. Ich habe ihn mal für meine Tochter gemacht, als sie noch klein war. Ich habe ihn zwischendurch schon mal neu angemalt, aber jetzt ist es wieder mal an der Zeit, denke ich.
But this chair we kept of course. I made it for my daughter when she was a little child. I repainted it in between, but now, it is a good time to do it again, I think.
