Ich weiß ja immer noch nicht, wie ich zu der Ehre gekommen bin. Ich war nämlich sehr überrascht, als ich in der letzten Woche den Anruf einer Mitarbeiterin der Borkener Zeitung erhielt, die mir mitteilte, sie wolle einen Artikel über mich schreiben. Ich mußte mich erst einmal vergewissern, dass sie auch wirklich mich meinte, denn ich hatte ja nichts besonderes getan. Ich dachte immer, dass man nur in die Zeitung kommt, wenn man selbst dort anruft und nachfragt, es sei denn, man hat irgend etwas vollbracht. Die Mitarbeiterin der Zeitung besuchte mich dann jedenfalls diese Woche und der Artikel, den sie dann verfasst hat, ist hier.
I still do not know how I have come to this. I was really very surprised when last week I received a call from an employee of our newspaper that told me that she wanted to write an article about me. First I had to make sure that she really meant me, because I had done nothing special. I always thought that one only comes in the newspaper, when you call yourself there and ask them, unless you have accomplished something. The employee of the newspaper visited me then this week and this is the article she has written about me. (Sorry, but this is too much to translate.)

Amazing how the wheels turn by themselves sometimes, right? But I found it a bit very exciting and unfamiliar, because I'm actually not that "public person". It's all unfamiliar ground, that I step into lately.
