und ihr so?

Neue Portemonnaies Größe M

Ich habe in letzter Zeit meinen Dawanda-Shop und meinen Etsy-Shop ziemlich vernachlässigt.  Sie sind beide im Moment so leer wie nie. Ich habe mir vorgenommen, sie mal wieder etwas zu füllen.

Als erstes habe ich ein paar Portemonnaies genäht.

Lately I have neglected my Dawanda- and my Etsy-Shop. Right now they're both as empty as never. I've made ​​up my mind to fill it again slightly.

First I made a few purses.

Sie sind von außen genauso wie meine Portemonnaies immer waren, aber von innen habe ich sie mal etwas anders gemacht.

They are from the outside just als always, but inside I have done something different.

Sie haben nämlich zwei schmale Fächer, ein etwas größeres und auch noch ein kleines Reißverschlußfach.  Ich habe sie Größe M genannt, denn die Portemonnaies, die ich sonst gemacht habe, wird es auch weiterhin als Größe S geben. Ich habe auch schon Größe L im Kopf, allerdings bisher nur dort.

Namely they have two small compartments, a slightly larger and also a small zipper compartment. I named them size M, because the purses that I have made usually, will be available as size S. I've also size L in my head, but so far only there.

Es folgen noch einige weitere in den nächsten Tagen.

intuitive Malerei - Harlekin

Seit über einer Woche schleiche ich nun um dieses Bild herum.

More than one week now I sneak around this painting.

Ich sehe dort einen Harlekin und habe angefangen, ihn zu malen.

I see a harlequin and started to paint him.

Aber eigentlich möchte ich gar keinen Harlekin malen. Muß man eigentlich alles malen, was einem so auf der Leinwand erscheint? Irgendwie blockiert mich dieses Bild völlig. Ich habe mich deshalb entschlossen, es jetzt endlich zur Seite zu stellen. Vielleicht male ich ihn später einmal. Soviel zum intuitiven Malen.

But actually I do not want to paint a Harlequin. Do you actually have to paint anything that appears on the canvas? Somehow this painting blocks me completely. Therefore I have decided to finally put it aside now. Perhaps I paint it later. So much for intuitive painting.

 

Patchwork Tischsets

Ich habe gestern diese Patchwork Platzdeckchen angefangen zu nähen und konnte sie heute morgen fertig machen.

Yesterday, I started sewing this patchwork place mats and I could finish them this morning.

Wenn man so etwas noch nicht genäht hat, kann man sich vielleicht nicht vorstellen, dass es ungefähr zwei Stunden dauert, bis eins! davon fertig ist.

If you have not sewn anything like that, you can possibly not imagine, that it takes about two hours to finish one! of it.

Schön sind sie geworden, oder? Ich benutze solche Tischsets ganz viel, denn sie sind viel praktischer als Tischdecken. Sie sind ruck zuck gewaschen und gebügelt und können direkt wieder auf dem Tisch liegen.

They turned out beautifully, or what do you think? I use these placemats very much, because they are much more practical than tablecloths. They are washed and ironed and directly back on the table.

 

Diese sind ungefähr 42 x 32 cm groß. Ich habe vier Stück gemacht und von der Rückseite sehen sie so aus.

Ich habe mich entschlossen, sie selbst zu behalten, denn den Preis, den ich bei dem Zeitaufwand dran schreiben müßte, möchte bestimmt niemand dafür bezahlen. Sie liegen jetzt in meiner Küche und ich freue mich.

Fu... computer

Ich könnte gerade echt schreien. Sch... Computer.

I could just scream. Fu... computer.

Ich versuche seit zwei Tagen, unzähligen Stunden (gefühlten Wochen) meinen Blog in Ordnung zu bringen. Ich nutze ja nicht die Kommentarfunktion von Blogger, sondern von IntenseDebate (aus welchem Grund, habe ich an anderer Stelle schon einmal erwähnt). Wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, hat nun Blogger etwas geändert, was Schwierigkeiten bei IntenseDebate verursacht hat. Ich glaube, ich hatte dadurch auf einmal zwei Blogs. Nämlich einen, auf dem Kommentare von Leuten aus Australien sichtbar waren, und einen, mit Kommentaren aus allen anderen Ländern.

I have tried for two days, countless hours (perceived weeks) to get my blog in order. I do not use the comment feature of Blogger, but from IntenseDebate (for whatever reason, I've mentioned somewhere before). If I understood correctly, Blogger has now changed somewhat, which has caused difficulties at IntenseDebate. I think I had once two blogs. Namely one, where comments from people in Australia were visible, and one with comments from all other countries.

Ich konnte im Internet direkt eine Problemlösung finden, da das kein spezielles Problem von mir war, sondern ein allgemeines. Kurz gesagt: einfach IntenseDebate deinstallieren und wieder neu installieren. Wäre aber auch zu schön gewesen. Ich denke, dass ich mich genau an die Anweisungen gehalten habe, aber was ist? Alle Kommentare sind weg. Nein, sie sind nicht weg, aber man kann sie nicht sehen (was ja noch hoffen läßt). Aber es kann zur Zeit auch niemand neue Kommentare schreiben. Super, nicht war?

I could find on the Internet directly something to solve the problem, because it was not a particular problem of mine, but a general. In short, just uninstall and reinstall IntenseDebate. But that would have been too nice. I think I have kept strictly to the instructions, but what is? All comments are gone. No, they are not gone, but you can not see them (which gives still hope). But no one can write new comments now. Great, huh?

Ich versuche jetzt irgendwie immer wieder das gleiche, um auch nach dem zehnten Mal festzustellen, das es nicht funktioniert. Ich habe schon zweimal den Support angeschrieben, aber leider reagiert dort niemand auf meine Hilfeschreie. Eine Reaktion wäre ja schon nicht schlecht. Auch wenn es nur etwas wäre wie: "Ihre E-Mail ist eingegangen. Sie sind Nummer 498. Wir melden uns." Nein, leider gar nichts.

I am now trying always the same, even to determine also after the tenth time that it does not work. I have written twice to the support, but unfortunately there nobody responded to my cries for help. A response would be not so bad. Even if it only would be something like: "We have received your  e-mail, you are number 498, we will contact you." No, unfortunately nothing.

Mittlerweile frage ich mich, warum ich das eigentlich hier tue. Aber ich glaube ein Blog ohne Kommentare geht nicht. Es wäre ja, als ob man in den luftleeren Raum schreibt. Ab und zu ein Kommentar ist ja doch schon schön. Also, falls es irgendwann wieder gehen sollte, schreibt mir einen kurzen Kommentar, wenn ihr Zeit habt, damit ich weiß, dass sich dieser Ärger hier gelohnt hat.

Meanwhile, I wonder why I do this. But I think a blog without comments is not so good. It would be as if one writes in a vacuum. From time to time a comment is after all quite beautiful. So, if it should eventually work someday again, it would be great, if you could write a short comment, if you have time, so I know that this anger has paid off here.

Ich weiß jetzt erst einmal nicht weiter und laß für heute den Computer Computer sein und reagiere jetzt mal meinen Frust im Garten ab. Dort kann ich im Moment ganz viel Kleinholz machen.

For today I do not know what should be done further. So I go and work my frustration off in the garden.

Flora Bowley Workshop "Bloom true" - intuitive Malerei - "Gloria"

Hallo! Ich hoffe, Ihr hattet ein schönes Wochenende. Ich habe das erste Bild fertig gemacht, das ich in Floras Workshop gemalt habe. Eigentlich ist es das zweite Bild, aber das erste ist noch nicht fertig.

Flora Bowley http://braveintuitiveyou.com/ ist eine Malerin, deren Arbeiten ich sehr bewundere.
Die Freude war bei mir natürlich groß, als ich letztes Jahr erfuhr, dass sie an einem online-workshop arbeitet. Was soll ich sagen? Wer ihre Bilder mag und sich fürs intuitive Malen interessiert, dem kann ich ihren Kurs sehr empfehlen. Ich finde es sehr schade, dass er für mich schon vorbei ist. Ich fand es sehr interessant, Einblicke in ihre Arbeitsweise zu bekommen.

Flora Bowley http://braveintuitiveyou.com is a painter whose work I admire very much. Of course the joy for me could not be greater as I heared last year, that she was working on an online workshop. What can I say? Who likes her paintings and is interested in intuitive painting, I can highly recommend her class. I find it very sad, that it is already over for me. I found it very interesting to get insights in the way she works.

Aber jetzt wieder zu meinem Bild. Es ist sehr groß, nämlich 100 x 80 x 2 cm und wie fast immer auf Sperrholz gemalt. Es sind Tonnen an Farbe auf diesem Bild.

But now back to my painting. It is big, it measures approx. 39 x 31,5 x 0,75 inches and is painted on plywood as usual. There are tons of paint on this painting.

Anfangs wollte ich den Entstehungsprozeß noch festhalten.

First I wanted to capture the creative process.

Aber dann war ich zu sehr mit dem Bild beschäftigt,

But then I was too busy painting,

und habe nicht mehr daran gedacht, Fotos zu machen.

and have forgotten to take pictures.

Ab hier habe ich keine Fotos mehr gemacht. Aber ihr könnt euch bestimmt denken, dass es weiterhin sehr spannend war.

From here I did not take any more photos. But you can imagine, that it was still very exciting.

For the birds to pimp their nests

Hallo! Heute ist endlich Frühlingsanfang. Es sieht zwar nicht so aus, aber es wird dann wohl auch hier bald was werden.

Hello! Today is finally the beginning of spring. It does not look like that, but it will probably soon be here.

Als ich heute in einem Geschäft diese Drahtkugeln liegen sah, dachte ich: "Ich weiß jetzt endlich, wofür diese Dinger gedacht sind."

When I saw these wire balls in a store today, I thought: "I know now, finally, what these things are made for."

Ich habe nämlich kürzlich das hier gelesen http://paintcutpaste.com/nest-zest/ und fand die Idee so toll. Sie ist mir direkt wieder eingefallen.

Because I have recently read this here http://paintcutpaste.com/nest-zest/. I thought that was such a great idea and therefore I remembered at once. 

Ich habe also heute auch ein Paar Kugeln mit Wollresten aufgehängt, damit die Vögel hier ihre Nester auch pimpen können. Mal sehen, ob sich die Idee auch schon zu unseren Vögeln rumgesprochen hat und sie damit etwas anfangen können. Vielleicht bekommen wir ja ein paar bunte Nester.
 

So today I hung some balls with yarn leftovers in my trees, so that the birds here can also pimp their nests. Let's see if the idea has already got round to our birds and if they can do something with it. Maybe we will get a few colored nests. 

painting HER

Da ich Keilrahmen überhaupt nicht mag, baue ich mir meine Bilder immer aus Spanplatten und Dachlatten selbst zusammen. Bei diesem Bild habe ich aber wohl eine Latte verbaut, die ziemlich verdreht war. Ich habe das gemerkt, als ich Farbe auf dem Bild verteilt habe. Manchmal beginne ich ein Bild einfach indem ich erst einmal Farbe verteile, um nicht vor einem weißen Untergrund zu stehen. Na ja, wie auch immer, nachdem ich gemerkt hatte, dass das Bild irgendwie verzogen ist, dachte ich mir, ich versuche einfach die Latten noch einmal zu entfernen. Wenn es dabei kaputt geht (die Latten sind bei geklebt und genagelt) ist es auch egal, denn es ist ja noch nichts drauf. Ja, und bei diesem Gedanken habe ich SIE dann gesehen.

Since I do not like to paint on canvas, I construct the underground for my paintings of plywood and battens. But in this construction I have probably installed a batten, which was pretty twisted. I've noticed that, when I painted the background. Sometimes I start a painting just by spreading color so I do not stand in front of a white background. Well, anyway, after I had noticed, that the construction is somewhat spoiled, I thought I'd just try to remove the battens. If it is broken in the process (as I glue and nail the battens) it does not matter, because there's still nothing on it. Yes, and at this thought I saw HER.

Ich wollte das Bild jetzt auf jeden Fall erhalten, aber die Latten mußten ab. Ich habe sie auch ab bekommen, ohne allzu großen Schaden anzurichten. Ein paar Zentimeter mußte ich die Platte aber danach absägen lassen, was aber bei der Größe nicht schlimm war. Es ist jetzt immer noch 75,5 x 100 cm. Dann habe ich neue Latten angebracht und nun versuche ich SIE zu malen. Erst habe ich ein paar Tage überlegt, ob ich die negative Form malen soll und mich dann aber dagegen entschieden. Mal sehen, was aus ihr wird. Ich finde es gerade ziemlich spannend. Einen Vogel gibt es übrigens auch noch auf dem Bild.

I wanted to obtain the image now in any case, but the battens had to go. I managed it without too much damage. A few inches I had to saw off after that, but with that size it did not matter. It is still 75.5 x 100 cm now. Then I installed new battens and now I'm trying to paint HER. At first I was thinking a few days whether I should paint the negative form, but then I decided against it. Let's see what will happen. I just think it's pretty exciting. A bird is also present in the picture.

Das Bild, das ich am Sonntag fertig malen wollte, steht leider wieder in der Ecke. Ich kriege dieses Bild nicht fertig. Dafür habe ich aber Laura gemalt. Sie ist fertig und ich muß sie morgen nur noch mit einem Firnis versehen. Dann mache ich mehr Fotos.

The painting, that I had shown you on Sunday, is unfortunately in the corner of my studio again. I could not finish it. But I painted Laura. She is finished and ready for a varnish tomorrow. Then I take more photos.

Ich habe einige angefangene Bilder hier stehen und ich glaube, ich werde mich heute mit ihr vergnügen. Sie hat leider noch keinen Namen.  

I have some paintings here, which are not finished and I think I will enjoy myself with her today. She still has no name.

Ich mußte mir gestern ein paar Tulpen kaufen, denn ich warte schon so auf den Frühling. Ich wünsche Euch einen schönen Sonntag.

Patchwork-Nadelkissen

Gestern habe ich für mich ein Patchwork-Nadelkissen genäht und wie so oft, wenn mir etwas gefällt, mußte ich noch ein paar mehr machen. Ich habe sie außenrum etwas bestickt.

I like them so much that I still can not stop. I think they will walk into my Dawanda-Shop, because what shall I do with so many?
